It apparently only allows copy operations and not rename operations, even though often the tool that does the copy tries as part of the copy process to rename a file. Only if you base it on your imagination....such as your claim (incorrect) that he said it was in their internal bug tracking system.

I think this patch should have been at least broken into 2 parts.
